What is the best time to visit Mexico

What do we think when we hear the word Mexico? Holiday! That’s right, Mexico is the place for surf, sand and beaches. There’s always something or the other happening all year round in Mexico. The country is a travelling paradise as it offers laid-back beaches to Mayon wonders and an unmatched palette of colors and flavors.

However, many people always have confusion.

What’s the best time to visit Mexico?

That depends a lot on what you are looking for. Usually, December to April are the best months but then you must ask a few questions to yourself like:

Do I want to head to the beach?

Beaches in Mexico are nothing short of spectacular and there are plenty of them to chill. If you’re heading there during Christmas, then expect high fares and a lot of international tourists. Cancun is one such place where you get to see plenty of tourists all year due to its tropical climate. Also, avoid coming in the spring break as plenty of foreign students come to party at all the beaches. The airfares go north during these months.

Are you looking for tradition?

Mexico City has plenty in store for you in terms of tradition. There is plenty of art and culture to witness in every part of the city. And if you are heading there in November, do make sure to catch the Day of The Dead Celebrations. It is a celebration of life and death with colorful costumes and masks on every street in the city. It happens on the first two days of November. And if you are looking for the Mayan ruins then visit Chichén Itzá from July to October when you can get the best travel deals. A word of caution for you. Stay away from the Hurricanes or Storms that can creep up during this time.

Like something cool?

Everyone talks about the exotic beaches of Mexico but if you are looking for something cooler, then head up to the highlands to the mystical city of San Cristóbal de las Casas. It offers another side to Mexico. Don’t visit during the winter months as it can become chilly. The good news, this city lies in southern Mexico which has cheap travel deals and affordable airfares throughout the year.
